View ProductWe go beyond equipment — from pre-purchase consultation to long-term plant operation, we're your partner at every stage.
At Duromech, we go beyond just providing equipment. Our process experts use the latest non-partisan simulation software to create accurate process diagrams, helping you understand and optimize your operations before ordering. We detect and prevent crusher overloads, enhance screen efficiency, and design layouts tailored to your exact site.
Our comprehensive field services ensure clients receive full support from installation to the end of the product lifecycle. Our fully trained service crew travels to your site to ensure your crushing plant operates at peak performance at all times.
Prefer to outsource plant operations entirely? Our O&M contracts let you focus on marketing your produce while we handle all logistics, planning, and maintenance. We become your dedicated operations team.
As regulations evolve, so must your operations. We specialise in retrofitting, expanding, and upgrading existing plants — whether for new environmental compliance, increased throughput, or replacing aging equipment.
From legacy landfill bio-mining to fresh MSW management — we provide end-to-end process solutions backed by decades of engineering know-how.
Start a Process ConsultationBiological processes extract valuable materials from legacy landfill waste, reducing environmental impact while recovering resources.
Advanced screening and sorting systems classify fresh municipal waste into recyclables, organics, and rejects efficiently.
Comprehensive MRF design and setup ensures optimal sorting performance and maximum recyclable material recovery rates.
Municipal solid waste is processed through ballistic separators, trommel screens, and classifiers to maximise resource recovery.
Trusted by plant operators, municipalities, and recycling firms across India and 20+ countries worldwide.

Real answers to the technical questions our engineers hear most — straight from 45 years of field experience.
A Trommel Screen separates waste by particle size using a rotating drum with holes — it works best for separating fine organics and soil from larger fractions. A Ballistic Separator separates by both size and material behaviour (2D flat vs. 3D chunky) using oscillating paddles — ideal for separating films, paper, and dense plastics from mixed dry waste. In a complete MSW plant, both are often used in tandem: Trommel first, then Ballistic Separator.
A typical 200 TPD MSW plant requires approximately 20–30 workers per shift depending on automation level. A highly automated plant with our latest ballistic separator and auto-conveyor system can run with as few as 12–15 people per shift. This includes machine operators (4–6), manual pickers at the picking belt (8–10), supervisors (2), and maintenance staff (2). Most plants operate 2 shifts (16 hours/day).
Yes. India's MSW has one of the highest moisture contents globally (55–65% in monsoon vs. 40–50% in dry season). All Duromech trommels are designed with anti-clogging star screen sections for wet material. Our ballistic separators have adjustable paddle speed and angle to compensate for heavier wet loads. Plants are also designed with covered receiving bays and drag chain conveyors (instead of belt conveyors) for wet conditions.
Bio-Mining (also called legacy waste remediation) is the process of excavating and processing old municipal solid waste from landfills that may be decades old. It's required when: (1) a dump yard is nearing capacity and needs to be reclaimed, (2) leachate is contaminating groundwater, or (3) SWM Rules 2016 mandate clearance of existing dumps. Duromech provides complete bio-mining solutions including excavation, trommel screening, and end-product (RDF, compost, inert fill) management.
For a 300 TPD plant operating under a tipping fee model (municipal contract), ROI is typically achieved in 4–6 years. Revenue streams include: tipping fees (₹300–600/tonne), RDF sale to cement plants (₹1,200–1,800/tonne), compost sale (₹2,500–4,000/tonne), and recyclable sale (metal, plastic, glass). Plants operating under O&M contracts with municipalities have more predictable ROI curves. We can provide a detailed site-specific financial model on request.
Typical lead times: Mobile / semi-mobile plants (50–200 TPD): 8–12 weeks. Stationary plants (200–1000 TPD): 16–24 weeks including civil foundation work. Complex multi-line plants can take 28–36 weeks. We offer pre-fabricated modular designs that cut installation time by 40%. Site commissioning and trial runs typically take an additional 2–4 weeks. Urgent orders for ULBs with grant deadlines are handled with expedited production on request.
